Nancy Douglas

Nancy Douglas is a Port Angeles native, but has lived throughout the Northwest. Nancy has worked in the insurance industry for 30+ years. She started as an independent agent while living in Enterprise, Oregon. She then moved to the underwriting department for Safeco in Oregon where she quickly found out she would rather help customers directly in an agency setting.

Since then, Nancy has worked for several agencies, including the Helen Elwood Insurance Agency. Matt Elwood, Helen’s son, purchased this Allstate agency in January of 2011 under the new name Elwood Benefits Inc. Nancy continues her role as a licensed sales producer and claims advocate in this office. Nancy is a caring, hard worker and a great asset to the agency.

Nancy is married with 3 children; Darren, Christine and Jason which give Nancy 4 grandchildren. She considers herself a farm gal, living on an original land grant from Clallam County. When she is not working, Nancy likes to quilt, sew, knit and cook.
